The Touchdown Club of Southern New Jersey was organized in 1968 to provide recognition to football players, cheerleaders, coaches and training personnel during the season with a series of dinners.
It is also the intent of The Touchdown Club to provide additional recogniton at a season-ending banquet honoring high school players of the year, a scholar-athlete of the year from the All-Academic team honored during the season, and to recognize collegiate players who developed their skills by playing in the programs of the member high schools.
In addition, it is the intention of The Touchdown Club to provide grant funding for football players to continue their education at the college or university level.
